Joey Anna at an Outlaw craft fair

The Outlaw Fair was a chance for us at Joey Anna to launch designs and products from our new collection - Falmouth Bay.

Our main display was a balancing act of wooden vintage apple creates to house a variety of our cushion designs. Next to our creates was a table full of fabric samples, scarves and some lampshades.

We arrived with a selection of products such as lampshades, cushions, fabric by the meter, silk scarves, prints & original drawings and other small home interior products.

There was a very friendly atmosphere in the tent on The Moor, with plenty of talented stalls, live music and amazing food our 4 day shift felt like a little holiday! With Falmouth Week and the carnival in full swing, the footfall was very high with plenty of holiday makers and locals attending, this contributed to the holiday vibe.

Surprisingly, for us, the lampshades gained the most interest from visitors with one particular design attracting the most attention, pictures to follow.  We found ourselves having to go home each evening and making more!

Another design that visitors loved was The English Garden Birds design. We were pleased to know that one lampshade with our little finches on will be situated locally in a Falmouth home and a cushion is making it's away across the Atlantic to live in America, as I write this post.  Although it did take the easy option by deciding to go by plane rather than make the flight by wing!

As our first artisan/craft fair (whatever you want to call it-lots of talented exhibitors under one roof) it has been a massive learning curve and great experience for us.  Joey Anna will hopefully be at more events in the future, especially if they are anything like Outlaw!

Big thanks to Judy at Outlaw for letting us be a part of it.

Here is a picture of our favourite lampshade;
