Happy 1st Birthday to us!

Happy 1st Birthday to us!

Saturday 1st July 2017 saw us celebrate Joey Anna's 1st year of business! Hooray!

It's been a fantastic year with so many great opportunities and memories.

We celebrated with cake (of course) from the lovely Martha at Send Cake! Brownies, flapjacks and rocky road - all were an absolute dream and the perfect way to mark the occasion. Martha bakes the cakes from her kitchen in rural Herefordshire and posted them the same day to sunny Cornwall for us - amazing! Cake is the post, arriving the next day, super fresh and so yummy!

Here are a few photos that capture the year, from selling designs at New Designers, and attending craft shows like Outlaw to magazine features from the gorgeous My Cornwall magazine and House Beautiful magazine! We have had lots and lots of happy customers which makes it all so worth while alongside competition winners!

With exciting workshops planned, more events, new designs and products we are already getting stuck into year 2!

Thank you to everyone for their support with our first year of business, we can't express how grateful we are and how happy we are to be continuing with Joey Anna!

Joey Anna Phone Cases

Joey Anna Phone Cases

Hello everyone!

We haven't really utilised the blog on our website much since our launch last year, but as we are coming towards our first birthday with Joey Anna we thought it was about time we did!

We are attending some great events this year and we have just launched our new lovely product, Joey Anna Phone Cases! Hooray! So we will definitely keep you up to date with any news on here!

Technology today is all around us and most of us use our mobile phones regularly to keep in contact, to run a business, to use social media, to do a little retail therapy...the list is endless but whatever your reason we now have some gorgeous cases for you to accessorise your phone!

We have developed a lovely range of 16 designs, which we plan to add to in the future. The cases are printed on both the back and sides of the case, they are hard-wearing, lightweight and slim and have a glossy look and texture.

Since launching the Phone Cases in May, there have been a few firm favourites so far...Scandinavian Autumn, Spring Garden and Spring Icelandic Puffins!

The cases are available for a range of different mobile phone models.

Why not take a look at the full range of designs we have on offer by clicking here and let us know which design you love the most!

Thank you to all those that have ordered so far, delivery is 1-2 weeks in the UK but get in contact with us if you live outside of the UK to discuss delivery details.

We hope you love them as much as we do!

Joey Anna at an Outlaw craft fair

Summer Outlaw Fair - Falmouth Week 2016

The Outlaw Fair was a chance for us at Joey Anna to launch designs and products from our new collection - Falmouth Bay.

Our main display was a balancing act of wooden vintage apple creates to house a variety of our cushion designs. Next to our creates was a table full of fabric samples, scarves and some lampshades.

We arrived with a selection of products such as lampshades, cushions, fabric by the meter, silk scarves, prints & original drawings and other small home interior products.

There was a very friendly atmosphere in the tent on The Moor, with plenty of talented stalls, live music and amazing food our 4 day shift felt like a little holiday! With Falmouth Week and the carnival in full swing, the footfall was very high with plenty of holiday makers and locals attending, this contributed to the holiday vibe.

Surprisingly, for us, the lampshades gained the most interest from visitors with one particular design attracting the most attention, pictures to follow.  We found ourselves having to go home each evening and making more!

Another design that visitors loved was The English Garden Birds design. We were pleased to know that one lampshade with our little finches on will be situated locally in a Falmouth home and a cushion is making it's away across the Atlantic to live in America, as I write this post.  Although it did take the easy option by deciding to go by plane rather than make the flight by wing!

As our first artisan/craft fair (whatever you want to call it-lots of talented exhibitors under one roof) it has been a massive learning curve and great experience for us.  Joey Anna will hopefully be at more events in the future, especially if they are anything like Outlaw!

Big thanks to Judy at Outlaw for letting us be a part of it.

Here is a picture of our favourite lampshade;
